What We Do

Farm Monitoring - Soil Moisture, Weather Stations, Irrigation Scheduling, Tank Monitors, Leak Detection and more

We design and install sensor systems that give Australian farmers real, actionable data — not guesswork. Our most popular products are weather stations in irrigated and cropping systems, cropping soil moisture monitoring, irrigation soil moisture monitoring and tank monitors and leak detection on animal livestock farms.

On-farm weather station in a field

On-Farm Weather Stations

On-farm weather stations record real-time weather conditions and calculate many important agro metrics like growing season rainfall, Delta-T and fire danger indexes, helping you manage crop nutrition and chemical protection, safe harvest practices, irrigation scheduling and general farm activities. On-farm weather forecasts (not from a BoM station kilometres away) are fully integrated to make decisions in real time become predictive decisions, allowing you to plan farm activities in advance to achieve the best results from your time and effort. Single weather stations or network multiple stations across your property or region.

Soil moisture monitoring probes

Soil Moisture Monitoring

Cropping Probes -
Allow you to monitor soil moisture at multiple depths and total root zone moisture conditions. They are used to make agronomic decisions around refining crop types to plant, seeing rooting depth and crop development, making nitrogen decisions, seeing how much water is available for grain fill toward the end of a growing season and much more

Irrigated pastures and crops -
Allow you to monitor soil moisture at multiple depths through the root zone. This allows you to see what depths water needs to be replaced by irrigation, control drainage, maximise usage of rainfall, manage or avoid plant stress and only use water that is required saving costly irrigation expenses when they aren't needed

BushLinx software dashboard

BushLinx® Software

A powerful, easy-to-use dashboard that brings all your sensor data together. View live readings, historical trends, and set automated alerts. Combining current and history data with Ai and calculations allows BushLinx predictions and forecasting to be used to plan farm events such as irrigation, spraying, harvesting and seeding, reducing those times where planned activities are not able to be done due to unfavourable farm conditions

BushLinx tank monitor drop-in sensor

Tank & Water Monitoring

Your stock water shouldn't be a guessing game — and it definitely shouldn't mean a 20-minute drive to find out a tank ran dry yesterday
BushLinx Tank Monitors tell you exactly what's in every tank on your property, right from your phone. Check levels over breakfast, get an SMS before a tank runs out, and catch leaks before they cost you
Most farmers already know roughly what's in their tanks. What isn't known is why the trough keeps emptying overnight, whether that bore is keeping up, or what's actually happening across the whole property while they're flat out elsewhere
Simple drop-in or Screw-in sensors available, solar or battery powered

BushLinx data sharing

Data Sharing

Share your data with your agronomist, consultant, or irrigation adviser. You stay in control of who sees what, and when. Sharing is opt-in, not opt-out
Do you have a farming group or group of mates? No worries, you can share your data in private networks, or add your site to networks more widely available than a defined group
Perhaps you have that mate that always brags about having more rain? Check up on them, whoever has the most rain buys the beers!

BushLinx public weather network map

Public Weather Networks

We support both private on-farm weather stations and public weather networks for NRM bodies, councils, and government agencies across regions and states. If you have a project requiring public presentation of data for the community, get in touch any time.

Our Products

Many products. One integrated system.

Every product is designed to work together through BushLinx® — or independently if that's what your project needs. New monitoring sites can be added over time and integrated into your BushLinx® login.
We have many standard products that are commonly requested, investigate them on the product pages. We also provide a fully customisable sensor offering so that you can have just what you want - and not what you don't want. Chat to us about your requirements any time

Testimonials

Real Farms. Real Results.

BushLinx took the guesswork out of our irrigation scheduling. We've cut back on water and diesel by only running the pivot when the data says it's needed — and when a probe played up, Tim had it replaced on-site within a week.

After seeing what BushLinx was doing on neighbouring properties, we installed in-canopy weather stations and soil probes on our own vineyard.
