The BushLinx® data logger is the hardware backbone of your farm monitoring system. It connects your sensors, manages power, and transmits data to the BushLinx® platform — reliably and automatically, 24 hours a day.
How Data Loggers Work
Our loggers are designed and assembled in Australia, tested in Australian field conditions, and backed by local support. They handle temperature extremes, dust, moisture, and the rough handling that comes with remote farm use — so you don't have to worry about your monitoring going offline at a critical time.
The logger sits at the centre of your sensor network. Sensors plug directly into the logger — soil moisture probes, weather station sensors, tank level sensors, and flow meters. The logger reads each sensor on a configurable schedule, stores the data, and transmits it to BushLinx® over 4G and AR-Tech local radios. Solar charging keeps the logger running indefinitely without mains power.
Our flagship logger — built for complex monitoring setups requiring multiple sensor types, sensors requiring special interfaces or just high capacity jobs. The Maxi supports every input type and includes an onboard optional 915Mhz AR-Tech radio for building private local radio sensor networks across the property.
The Mini+ is our most popular logger — and it's easy to see why. With capacity for multiple sensor devices, each reporting up to 16 individual sensors, the Mini+ handles the vast majority of farm monitoring setups without compromise. It's the logger of choice wherever you need a single unit to carry a few sensor devices connected.
It excels in soil moisture monitoring, where a single SDI-12 probe can report readings from many depths simultaneously. One logger, 1 or 2 probes, a complete picture of your soil profile from surface to depth — all streaming live to BushLinx®. Add a rain gauge on the pulse input and the Mini+ keeps handling it.
Not every monitoring job needs a large capacity data logger. Sometimes you just need one or two sensor devices connected reliably to BushLinx® — and that's exactly what the Mini is built for. With capacity for up to 2 sensor devices and 10 sensors each, the Mini is the right tool for focused, single-purpose monitoring: a soil moisture probe up to 80cm at a key paddock location, a tank level sensor at a remote trough or tank, or a rain gauge at an outstation.
The Mini carries the same 4G connectivity, solar power, weatherproof enclosure, and full BushLinx® integration as its bigger siblings — at a scale matched to simpler setups. If you're starting out with farm monitoring or adding coverage to a remote corner of the property, the Mini gets the job done without overspecifying.
